Under 11's Whiteleas Juniors

Whiteleas have had a great season both in their league campaign and in tournaments throughout the summer to date. In what is a very difficult league at Monkton we finished joint third winning 13 our of 20 games and only losing 4 with the kids playing some excellent entertaining football. We then entered our first tournament away from home at Skegness and what a weekend that was, we played some cracking sides from all over the Country and met a few friends along the way and then went on to win it, something I will never forget. We have also been fortunate to win another two tournaments since then, the first being the NUFC in the COmmunity one and the path we had to winning that was unbelievably hard beating Hebburn, Bishop Auckland, Ponteland Juniors and finally MOnkton Athletic in the final who in my eyes are the best side in our age group. We then went on to win the Darlington tournament where we played eath other in the final which is a fantastic achievement as both sides were brilliant on the day. All I can say is roll on 11-a-side.
